We can offer you various systems: from 1 wash bay to as many wash bays as you wish, with or without a roof. The technical installation is available in an integrated stainless steel column that is part of the roof construction, in which all the components are installed or as a technical room with a frame on which all components are mounted.
The high technology and the quality of the used products guarantee a high efficiency and appearance. The self washes can be open 24 hours a day without additional personnel costs.
The Rowafil system consists of the following main components:
The high-pressure technique type iClean-CAT HD
This consists per wash bay of:
- 1 CAT high-pressure pump type 5CP2140W.
Technical data:
Maximum pressure: 175 bar (adjustable to 100 bar).
Maximum capacity: 15 litres per minute (adjustable to 13 litres per minute). - 3 Pneumatic chemical dosing pumps for exact dosing. Only three kinds of chemicals are used (shampoo, insect cleaner and wax). The pump frequency is infinitely adjustable per program.
- Frequency converter with which the pressure and capacity per program are infinitely adjustable and are between 10 – 100 bar and 160 – 800 litres per hour. The frequency converter also prevents high pressure at the high-pressure pump and decreases wear.
- Frost protection so that there can be washed under all weather circumstances.
The high-pressure technique has been placed, very compact, in a stainless steel frame for instalment in the technical room or in the control panel column in the wash bay. All parts are well reachable en conveniently mounted for simple maintenance.
Wash bay lay-out
This consists per wash bay of:
- 2 x 360ยบ Convertible supported stainless steel Z-arm to prevent
hoses from hitting body work or causing damages to paintwork. - 2 High-pressure hoses with swivels (no twisting or loops between the hoses).
Active foam lance integrated in the high pressure lance. Because of this, misuse of the lance is not possible. Includes a stainless steel lance holder.- Foam brush with foam kit. Includes a stainless steel brush tray.
- Stainless steel middle gutter for mounting the arms.
Serving and operating system
This consists per wash bay of:
- UPC with web server for visualization. This is installed in a cabinet with isolation class IP66. Standard with computer or internet link through a CAT5 Ethernet cable. All management information, service- and adjustable information can be accessed direct or online, and be adjusted.
- Electronic RM5 coin acceptor for coins, tokens and also the Eurokey (prepaid purse).
- Operation via a 7+1 lighted piezo keypad with acoustic signal. The display is 40 x 70 mm; the display gives instructions in your language with programme- and remaining value report in large digits.
The following programs can be chosen:
- Pre-foaming.
- Insect spray.
- High-pressure washing.
- Brush washing.
- Rinse.
- Shine wax.
- Spotless rinse.
Every program can be adjusted on warm-, cold or osmosis water or a mix of all these. Program sequence and types can be adjusted to meet your requests.

Wash bay equipment (optional)
- The construction is of stainless steel all in folded plate for an unique design with a bright round polycarbonate roof of 10 mm, two sides UV protected.
- The separation walls are made of safety glass panels in green, blue or grey.
- There must be a concrete plate with the necessary gutters. Dimensions per wash bay are 6,000 mm x 4,800 mm. Maximum vehicle height is 3,000 mm.
- Lightning by fluorescent lamps, 4 tubes of 58W per wash bay.
- Closed technical room consisting of sandwich panels and an stainless steel door. Dimensions L x W x H = 6,000 x 3,000 x 2,400 mm. All pumps and water treatment equipment are placed here.
